StarCraft improved upon its predecessor Warcraft II, which showcased two pretty identical playable factions, by introducing asymmetry involving the models and technologies available to its three races (Protoss, Terran, and Zerg). This asymmetry was similar to that pioneered during the lesser-regarded 1996 SSI launch War Wind. The unit varieties available to each race determine its racial identification. The Protoss can discipline effective and costly warriors and equipment, when the Zerg rely 무에타이 on sheer numbers and speed to overwhelm their opponents.

StarCraft: Remastered has become announced for summer of 2017, bringing the common gameplay and campaign of StarCraft back with new visuals, audio, and modern-day on the internet features.
